Szymon Orliński

Szymon Aleksander Orliński began his music education at the Juliusz Zarębski State Primary School of Music No. 3 in Warsaw under the guidance of Jolanta Generowicz. He went on to study with Radosław Sobczak at the Karol Szymanowski State Combined Schools of Music No. 4 in Warsaw. He is currently enrolled at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, studying with Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just and Wojciech Świtała. 

Orliński has won a plethora of prizes and honourable mentions at international and national competitions, such as the second prize at the Young Musician International Competition ?Citta di Barletta? in Barletta, the second prize at the International ?PianoTalents? Competition in Milan, the first prize at the International Piano Competition ?Memorijal Jurica Murai? in Varaždin, an honourable mention at the International Piano Competition ?Euregio Piano Award? in Geilenkirchen and the joint first prize at the Tadeusz Paciorkiewicz National Competition of Young Music Talents in Sierpc. The artist has performed with the Witold Lutosławski Symphony Orchestra of Płock conducted by Przemysław Marcyniak.
