Trio Incendio was formed in Prague in 2016 and initially collaborated with professors from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague: Martin Kasík and Ivo Kahánek. The ensemble has won laurels at such competitions as the Gianni Bergamo Classic Music Award in Lugano, the Coop Music Awards in Cremona, the Marcello Pontillo Music Interpretation Competition in Florence, the Łódź Kiejstut Bacewicz International Chamber Music Competition in Łódź, the International Chamber Music Competition ?Massimiliano Antonelli? in Latina and the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation Interpretation Competition in Prague.
The trio are a member of the European Chamber Music Academy (ECMA), which enables them to regularly work with distinguished artists and professors of music, e.g. Hatto Beyerle, Avedis Kouyoumdjian, Itamar Golan, Jan Talich, Vida Vujić, Patrick Jüdt, Minna Pensola, Dirk Mommertz and the members of the Artis Quartet. The ensemble regularly appear at the International Summer Academy in Reichenau, where they have won the Wiener Klassik Prize, the Bohuslav Martinů Prize and the AHUV Prize for the best performance of contemporary Czech music. In 2019, the musicians took part in a master class with the eminent pianist Alfred Brendel organised at the Rudolfinum in Prague. The artists are actively involved in a number of various music events, such as the Ticino Musica Festival in Lugano and the Prague Spring International Music Festival in their native Prague.
