Ruslan Kazakov

Ruslan Kazakov completed the Gnesins State Musical College of Moscow Conservatoire (in 2009), where he attended the piano class conducted by Tatiana Dobrovolskaya, after which he went on to study piano at the Gnesins Music Academy of Russia in Moscow with Vera Nosina (graduating in 2014). He complemented his music education, again in Vera Nosina?s class, with a postgraduate degree from the same institution in 2019. Ruslan Kazakov has participated in international piano competitions, winning several trophies. These include the third prize received at the Sixth International Piano Competition ?Road to Mastery? in Moscow (2011), the first prize at the Second Semyon Benditsky All-Russian Open Piano Competition in Saratov (2014) and the second prize at the Fifth International Mily Balakirev Piano Competition of Russian Music in Krasnodar (2014). The artist has appeared with solo and chamber music recitals within Russia and in other countries.
