Aleksandra Kuls and Marcin Koziak have performed in a duo since 2009. Their collaboration has taken them to such countries as the United States, France and Italy. In Poland, they have performed at many prestigious concert halls in Warsaw, Kraków, Poznań and Łódź, as well as at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Lusławice. The duo have appeared at a number of festivals and concert series, including the International Music Festival ?Chopin and his Europe? in Warsaw, the Emanations International Music Festival, the International Festival ?Music in Old Cracow? in Kraków and the Chopin Salon Concert Series in Miami. The duo?s repertoire encompasses a few dozen works, from the Baroque to the music written in the twenty-first century. The artists also perform individually and in other chamber setups; they have performed throughout Europe, as well as in the United States and Japan. Aleksandra Kuls studied with Kaja Danczowska at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków, where she is now employed at the Department of Violin and Viola. She has been a prize winner at competitions held in Poznań, Budapest, Łódź and Warsaw, amongst other places. Marcin Koziak studied with Stefan Wojtas at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków and with Tamás Ungár at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. He has successfully appeared at competitions held in Warsaw, Tel Aviv and Salt Lake City. He is currently employed as a teacher at the Mieczysław Karłowicz State Combined Schools of Music in Kraków.
