The Tansman Trio is an all-female string ensemble consisting of violinist Roksana Kwaśnikowska, violist Agnieszka Podłucka and cellist Zuzanna Sosnowska. All three women studied at the Zenon Brzewski Comprehensive Secondary School of Music in Warsaw. They went on to complete the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar and the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid.
They gained their chamber music experience under the watchful eyes of the members of the Artemis Quartett: Heime Müller, Natalia Prishepenko and Anthea Kreston. They have brought laurels from chamber music competitions held in Canada, Spain, Poland and Italy. Individually, they also perform as members of other chamber ensembles or orchestras, such as the Lutosławski Quartet, the Ensemble Esperanza, the Chopin Piano Quintet, the Splot Quartet and the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice. The artists are regularly invited to perform at Polish chamber music festivals, including the Krzyżowa-Music Festival in the town of Krzyżowa, the Summer Concerts at Grochowska Street in Warsaw, the Princess Daisy Ensemble Festival in Książ, the International Chamber Music Festival ?Q'arto Mondi? in Poznań and the ?Trzy-Czte-Ry. Contexts. Contrasts. Confrontations? Festival in Warsaw. They also regularly perform abroad: in Germany, Spain, Japan, Namibia, the United States, Italy, Latvia and the Scandinavian countries.
