Paweł Popko and Piotr Dinh Thieu-Quang have played together in a chamber setup since 2018. Along with cellist Maria Leszczyńska, they have also performed as the Warsaw Modern Trio.
Paweł Popko graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. He has regularly appeared at national and international concerts and festivals. He has won a plethora of prizes, including the First Prize at the Mänttä Music Festival in Finland in 2012 and the Third Prize at the Fifth International Youth Competition Performer-Composer in the Memory of Anton Rubinstein in Saint Petersburg in 2009.
Piotr Dinh Thieu-Quang studies at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. He has also won numerous solo and chamber music competitions of both national and international standing. The highlights of his achievements include the Third Prize at the Eighth Zachodniopomorskie Clarinet Festival in 2018, the Second Prize and three special prizes at the Seventeenth Academic Clarinet Competition in Włoszakowice in 2018 and the First Prize at the Twelfth National Chamber Wind Ensemble Competition in Warsaw in 2019. As a soloist and a chamber musician, he has performed in Poland, Germany, Belgium, Portugal and Lithuania. He promoted the music of Polish composers (such as Paweł Mykietyn and Wojciech Chałupka) during his tour of South Africa in 2019.
