Karolina Podorska and Mateusz Słowikowski are young chamber music artists representing the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław. They have been working together since 2020, perfecting their chamber music skills under the watchful eye of Julita Przybylska-Nowak. The duo have already won the first prize at the Twentieth Juliusz Zarębski International Music Competition in Łomianki (2020), the second prize at the First International Online Instrumental Performance Competition in Toronto (2021) and the first prize at the Seventh Intercollegiate Competition for Instrumental and Vocal Duos in Warsaw (2021). Karolina Podorska is studying violin with Jarosław Pietrzak. She has been a prize winner at the Centre for Artistic Education National Music Competition in Kielce (2018), the Twenty-Ninth Concours National ?Flame? in Paris (2018), the Fourth Eugenia Umińska National Violin Competition in Kraków (2019) and the Tenth Zdzisław Jahnke National Violin Competition in Poznań (2020). Mateusz Słowikowski is studying piano with Paweł Zawadzki. He has won laurels at the Twentieth Halina Czerny-Stefańska National Piano Contest in Żagań (2015), the Tenth National Piano Miniature Competition ?Łowiecki? in Wrocław (2015) and the Seventh International Competition for Young Pianists ?Broumovská klávesa? in Broumov (2017).
