The musicians of the Lewandowski/Ziomko Duo started their joint artistic project at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where they were studying chamber music with Anna Prabucka-Firlej. Together, they have won the Grand Prix at the Fourth International Youth Music Competition ?With Music Through Europe? in Vilnius (2018), the first prize at the Masters? Tournament during the Sixth Chamber Music Tournament in Three Scenes in Bydgoszcz (2019) and an honourable mention at the Tenth Franz Schubert International Competition in Ruse/Rousse (2015). They have repeatedly appeared in concert and at festivals in Poland and other countries, e.g. at the seventeenth and eighteenth editions of the Chamber Music Festival in Gdańsk (2016, 2017) and the Second Green Music International Festival in Piegaro (2018). Jan Lewandowski graduated with distinction from the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where he studied with Marcin Zdunik. He has a busy schedule performing as a soloist and a chamber musician at the most prestigious venues in Poland. He has been awarded at multiple international competitions. In recognition of his artistic achievements, he has been a holder of a number of cultural scholarships granted, amongst others, by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the City of Gdańsk (?Young Person from Gdańsk?). Daniel Ziomko studied with Waldemar Wojtal at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, which he completed with honours. He is currently doing his doctoral degree at his alma mater. He has won at competitions held in such places as Treviso, Słupsk and Warsaw. He has given recitals at the Fryderyk Chopin Museum in Warsaw, the Baltic Philharmonic Hall in Gdańsk and other venues.
